22 June 2017 - Fire at Grenfell Tower

We are deeply saddened by the fire at Grenfell Tower in London and our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic event. Cornwall Housing does not own or manage any tower block accommodation however; we would still like to reassure our tenants that we constantly work closely with our colleagues in the Council and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service in our approach to fire safety. Our residents’ safety is our utmost priority and whilst it is too early to speculate what happened in London, we will watch for any lessons learned that might come out of any future investigations to ensure our homes are as safe as possible.
