NFA Annual Review 2020
The highlight of last year’s ALMO calendar was the centenary of the 1919 Addison Act, the legislation that made British council housing possible. That seems like very old news now, given the extraordinary crisis we are living
through. Yet I believe the central vision of the Addison Act is more relevant now than ever.
NFA Annual Survey 2019 - Serving our Communities
In November 2019, the NFA published its review of best practice in housing management in the ALMO sector, highlighting the work that members do to deliver modern housing services against an increasingly challenging backdrop. Cornwall Housing is featured for the excellent work for carrying out full fire risk assessments on all blocks, reviewed all fire doors and developed an upgrade programme as required. Cornwall Housing Tenant Scrutiny Panel has carried out an independent review and Cornwall Housing are currently putting in place all the recommendations.
