Report a repair

Due to the national lockdown there will be a reduction in our teams availability.
In the interest of safeguarding our residents and employees, from Wednesday 20 January 2021 we will only be attending emergency and urgent repairs.  Appointments for less urgent works will recommence once the national lockdown restrictions have been reduced.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

If your repair is not urgent, please can you contact us after lockdown. We are unable to raise non-urgent or non-emergency repairs at this time. An emergency or urgent repair is a repair which is a risk to person or property.

When reporting a repair please be ready to give the following details:

  • Your name 
  • Your address
  • A day time telephone number where you can be reached
  • When someone is at home so the repair can be carried out or an inspection can be made
  • As much information about the repair as possible

Handyperson Service

The Handyperson Service is a Cornwall Council service that provides help with household maintenance and repairs for people in Cornwall who are over 60 or have a disability. If you are interested in the service please see the leaflet attached.

Who is responsible for repairs to your council home?
