Warm Home Discount
The Warm Home Discount is an annual discount of £140 to help reduce your fuel bills when you’re using more gas or electricity to heat your home.
If you receive guaranteed pension credit you’ll get this automatically. However, there are many others that may be eligible and can apply to receive the discount. The discount will not affect your Cold Weather Payment or Winter Fuel Payment.
Each fuel provider has different eligibility rules so it is best to check with your provider to see if you fit their criteria. Applications open on different dates depending on the supplier. If successful your supplier will apply the discount to your bill by 31 March 2021.
If you are concerned about your energy bills and would like some advice on reducing your payments or how to manage them better, please call 0300 1234 161.
