We’ve been supporting two Charities of the Year throughout 2024 - Man Down Cornwall and Georgia's Voice, two organisations dedicated to mental health and suicide prevention for men and young women in Cornwall.

Our Health and Wellbeing group have been busy organising some fantastic staff fundraisers this year to support our charities whilst promoting wellbeing in the workplace. Including…

  • Charity Miles Day: We put on our trainers and covered over 20 miles, raising £145 and getting outdoors.
  • Staff Bake Off: Our bake-off was a sweet success with £163 raised
  • Euros Sweepstake: The sweepstake added some extra fun to the Euros and raised £48. Congratulations again to Helena Rance who had the winning team (Spain)!
  • Christmas Raffle: At our staff Christmas party, we wrapped up the year with a festive raffle, raising £102.

We make that a grand total of £458 raised. A huge thank you to our Health and Wellbeing group for organising these fundraisers, and to all our staff who have taken part to support our charities throughout the year.

Chair of the Health & Wellbeing group, Richard Lewis, said: “I would like to say thank you to all members of staff that contributed and took part in some way to help raise money for our charities of the year. The work these organisations do I feel resonates with a lot of staff on both a personal and professional level, and it has been great to be able to do something to give back as an organisation.”

In the New Year, we’ll be choosing new charities to support: we’ll share more details soon.
