Temporary changes to our repairs process – Key dates and info                               

We’re making some temporary changes to our repair services over the next few weeks to help manage the transition to our new repairs contractors. 

For two weeks from Saturday 22 February to Sunday 9 March only emergency repairs will be raised to allow our current contractor to complete outstanding jobs and help our new contractors prepare to take over.

During this time, urgent and routine repairs will not be logged. Instead, we will be asking you to call back after Monday 10 March when will be resume logging all repairs in line with our interim repairs policy.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Friday 21 February – This is the last day to report urgent repairs (those that usually take 3–7 days to resolve).
  • Saturday 22 February to Sunday 9 MarchOnly emergency repairs will be carried out. Residents requiring urgent repairs will be asked to call back after Monday 10 March.
  • Monday 10 March – We’ll resume logging all repairs in line with our interim repairs policy.

What counts as an emergency repair?

If you experience one of these issues during the temporary period, please report it straight away by calling 0300 1234 161.

  • Uncontainable water or roof leaks
  • Total loss of heating or hot water (in winter)
  • Dangerous or exposed electrical wires
  • Blocked, leaking, or damaged toilet (if no other toilet is available)
  • Blocked or damaged flue or chimney
  • No electricity
  • Total loss of water supply
  • Gas leak or carbon monoxide alarm sounding – Call the National Gas Emergency Service at 0800 111 999.

If your repair doesn’t fall into one of these emergency categories, we kindly ask you to wait until Monday 10 March to report it or send your repair request via the webform and will we automatically log this for you from Monday 10 March.

This temporary change will help us manage the transition smoothly and ensure repairs are handled efficiently.
