Our Independent Living residents at Trecarn, Launceston, recently came together to enjoy a festive celebration in their communal lounge.

The space was beautifully decorated for the season, including a sparkling Christmas tree, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all.

Engagement Officer Frankie led the carols, guiding residents through songs from different decades. The session was enjoyed by everyone, with residents joining in at their own pace and sharing in the festive spirit.

The event offered more than just music and treats; it was a chance for residents to connect with each other, enjoy shared memories and celebrate the holiday season as a community. Many residents commented on how much they appreciated the opportunity to come together in a relaxed and friendly setting.

At Trecarn, supporting residents to enjoy meaningful and engaging activities is a key part of daily life. Events like this Christmas celebration help foster a sense of belonging and community, making the festive season special for everyone involved.
