If genuine work is due to be carried out in or on your home, you will always be contacted in advance by Cornwall Housing or one of our approved contractors.
Carry official ID badges
Wear branded uniform clothing showing their company logo
If someone arrives at your property unexpectedly and you are unsure who they are, you are not obliged to let them into your home.
If in doubt - shut them out.
