Please note that requests for personal information must be made as a Subject Access request under the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details about the process can be found on the Data Protection page.

Making a Freedom of Information (FOI) Request

FOI requests should be made in writing. Please complete the form below as fully as possible so that we can deal with your request efficiently. Items marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed. Other information may help us with your enquiry but you do not have to supply it.

When you send us this form, you will be sent an email which will contain the information you submitted. This will be sent to you without encryption so please ensure you do not include any sensitive information on this form.

We will share the information with the service area which relates to your Freedom of Information request; if further processing is needed you will be advised of this by the relevant service. Where we need to liaise with a third party who provides services on Cornwall Housing’s behalf, we will only share details of the request and not your personal information. We will contact you to obtain your permission if it becomes necessary to pass on any personal information.

Your personal information will be kept for up to 3 years from the date your enquiry was closed in line with our data retention policy; it will be stored in our secure Freedom of Information files with restricted authorized access.
