Storm damage update and repairs information

Storm Ciaran is causing high winds and heavy rain, with potential for disruption and damage to homes. Please see our storm advice below, including guidance on how to contact us.

Flooding

Heavy rain can cause flooding, and there are multiple flood warnings in force across Cornwall. You can check if your community is affected by flooding on the gov.uk website. Please call us immediately if you have any urgent flooding issues.

Trees

If you have any safety concerns about trees in your garden, please call us. If you spot an issue with trees in your community, please call Cornwall Council on 0300 1234 222 who will check if it is causing any immediate danger.

Roof repairs

If you have any urgent roof repairs, leaking roofs, or missing tiles, please call us. Our contractors will assess whether it is safe to continue with any outside external works. If it is not safe to continue with a repair, someone will contact you to let you know.

General repairs

Our main contractor will continue to carry out repairs, however, the service may be disrupted over the coming days. Some emergency repairs relating to storm damage will need to be completed quickly, and so some booked routine repairs may need to be cancelled at short notice.

Scaffolding checks

If you have scaffolding erected at your property, our contractors will be checking it has not been damaged and remains safe over the coming hours and days. If you have any concerns, please call us immediately.

Power Cuts

If you lose power during the storm, please:

Gas and electrical servicing

These services will continue as normal.
