Cornwall Housing are using contractor ‘Harmony’ to upgrade flat fire doors. This will be replacing residents flat front doors and communal entrances that are damaged or need upgrading – important work to deliver our priority to residents’ safety.
Harmony Fire – known as Harmony - are a world leading fire protection company who have been working for over 40 years in the UK on fire safety. Harmony prides itself on its people-focused service and have extensive experience with social housing homes and communities. They are also accredited by the highest standards in fire protection including the leading independent registration body for third party certified fire protection accreditation.
Mark Statton, Head of Building Safety said “This partnership aims to upgrade 900 fire doors over a two-year period. We are starting in Prince Philip Road in Launceston, and then the upgrade programme will be guided by the areas with the most urgent replacement need. We are pleased to be working with Harmony on such important work – putting our residents’ safety first.”

Harmony will contact residents directly about the upgrade to their front door – this is essential work to make sure that residents’ homes are meeting the required fire safety standards and legislation. All Harmony operatives will wear a Harmony uniform and have photo ID. If you are unsure that an operative is genuine, please call us on 0300 1234 161.
As of 1st September Harmony Fire will also be our new Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting contractor.
