Coming soon!

We’re launching a new way for residents to help ensure our neighbourhoods are clean, safe, and well maintained.

Become a Neighbourhood Champion

Neighbourhood Champions play an important role in making sure communal areas are looked after. They monitor cleaning and grounds maintenance, such as grass cutting, and report on a wide range of issues, including:

  • Bin stores
  • Drying areas
  • Fly-tipping
  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Other communal concerns

What’s new?

In addition to reporting on a wider range of issues, Neighbourhood Champions will work more closely than ever with Estate Rangers and other neighbourhood staff. This may include joint walkabouts to spot issues early and make sure standards remain high.  They will also be invited to feed into and attend Community Walkabouts.

How it works

Champions use a simple online form (with paper forms available if preferred) to report the standard of their neighbourhood. This can be done monthly, or immediately if something important needs attention.

As a Neighbourhood Champion, you’ll receive:

  • A full induction
  • Regular updates on reported issues and improvements made
  • An annual get‑together with staff and contractors
  • A small annual voucher as a thank you for your contribution
