Kitchens and bathrooms

Prior to major repairs being undertaken our decent homes surveyor along with our contractor will arrange a suitable time to visit you. This will be to assess the age and condition of kitchens and bathrooms to determine if any work is required to update these facilities.

Areas we look at are:

• New fitted kitchen - if yours is over 20 years old or in poor condition. Updates include re- tiling, redecoration and upgrades to electrical fittings
• New bathroom suite - if yours is more than 30 years old and in poor condition. Works will include vinyl flooring if we have to replace the sanitary ware.
• Checking the heating system is fully functional
• General condition of the property

Please note that all council representatives will carry identification cards. Do not allow any person into your home unless they carry the relevant identification.

If work is required you will be given choices of design, colour and layout of various kitchen options that are available. We will then arrange a date for the work to commence.
