Cornwall Housing has set a housing quality standard designed to improve the Council housing stock across Cornwall. The Cornish Housing Standard has been created jointly by tenants and staff from Cornwall Housing. Consultation with tenants took place at every stage in the development of the standard to ensure it would meet tenants’ expectations on quality. The Standard was again reviewed and updated in February 2019.
As we now focus on some wider issues, including climate change, we will need to review the standard again and it is expected that a revised version will be developed over the coming months following further consultation with tenants.
