Our £79m housing investment programme

Major improvements are planned for some of our oldest social housing stock, with £79m set to be invested in our homes over the next five years.

In the next 12 months, residents living in around 2,000 of our Council homes will see improvements to the energy efficiency or the general condition of their homes, as part of our investment programme which includes replacing roofs, kitchens and bathrooms. The upgrades will take place across Cornwall, and will ensure homes are up to date with recent changes in fire safety legislation.

Major works will focus on those homes with low energy efficiency ratings (EPCs F and G), and those needing structural improvements. There will also be some estate improvement works that will see outdoor and communal areas revamped.

As we commission each piece of work over the coming years, residents will be contacted individually about planned improvements to their homes. If you have any questions, please contact us.
