Stock Condition Surveys
A ‘Stock Condition Survey’ is an inspection of your home. The survey helps us assess the age and condition of each building element, so we can schedule maintenance.
There are currently two surveys being undertaken by our contractor partners:
- Stock condition surveys – Savills are working to survey all homes. They will need access to each room, the garden, and possibly the roof space to check there are no leaks and the condition of the insulation. Surveys take approximately 30-45 mins.
- Carbon surveys – Retrofit Works – CCS are carrying out retrofit works on our behalf as part of a programme to improve the energy efficiency of our homes. We are currently retrofitting 186 homes over a three-year period, with the programme likely to expand to five years. These works may include improvements such as insulation, ventilation, heating upgrades and other measures to help homes stay warmer, use less energy and support lower carbon emissions. Surveys will be completed before works begin so we can make sure the right improvements are identified for each home.
