Estate Monitors

Coronavirus (Covid-19) update 18 May 2020 - Cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts

Cormac is currently completing risk assessments before returning to a full cleaning schedule, taking into consideration items left in communal areas that are making it difficult to achieve social distancing.  Once the communal areas have been cleared of items, this will allow the cleaning team to work quickly and keep their time on sites to a minimum.  In the mean time these sites will continue to receive spray cleaning on contact points, e.g. handrails.

The grounds maintenance teams are phasing a return on our estates and are aiming to be back to 4 weekly cuts from 26 May.

Being an Estate Monitor

Would you like to help us monitor the communal cleaning service or grounds maintenance where you live?

We want to ensure the service you're getting for communal cleaning and grounds maintenance (e.g. grass cutting) is meeting the agreed standard.

We need help from our tenants to monitor the service and keep us updated with your findings.

Event for our Communal Cleaning monitors

We held an Estate Monitors' event in February for communal cleaning. This was an opportunity for our Monitors to meet the team, receive information from the contractor (Cormac) and ask questions. The event went well and all that attended found it informative. If you would like to receive more feedback from this event, please contact Julia Walsh on the number below or email julia.walsh@cornwallhousing.org.uk for more information.
